Jamie Franklin - Team Principal/Owner
In the grand scheme of our history, 18th and 19th would be a pretty dismal result, but I'm quite happy with it to be fair. Both drivers did a pretty solid job throughout, kept their heads cool in the heat and brought it home. We never expected to set the world on fire here, and on probably the inferior strategy compared to the hards, I think we did alright. Obviously we were aided by a few DNFs, but still finished in front of a Meteor and Lucas, so I think we have to look at the positives and hope to move forward more in Australia. Enzo Dominicalli - Race Driver (18th) For sure, quite a tough race, the heat is not easy to deal with for so long but the car was okay. The straight line speed was a little better than in Japan, so we could defend a little easier for sure. I think the progress so far has been okay but I think there's still more we can do. Nick Addison - Race Driver (19th) Mate, that one was a blinder. Probably doesn't seem like it when you see I finished down in 19th, but I had some good old scraps out there today, mixing it in with the likes of Cheema and Westwood, which was a bit of a surprise, but it was definitely good fun. Unfortunately lost a fair bit of time after Ledesma spun, and then got some debris stuck in the front wing which seemed to stall it. I was coming in to pit anyway, but it meant I lost the place to Enzo and just couldn't work my way passed again. But still, really happy with the progress this weekend, and if we keep up like this, I'm excited for how the season will go. Ivan Soto - Technical Director I think other than our strategy call, we had a good weekend. I don't think we'd have done much better on hards anyway, but could have taken a position or two...maybe. Everything went pretty much as expected and we have good data to take away for the races ahead. Felicia Quinn - Chief Designer Thankfully some of the tweaks we made on the car this weekend seemed to work as expected. But the real bonus is the reliability. Obviously we're not expecting to be bulletproof throughout the season, but to be able to handle the heat was definitely a positive. Both drivers delivered us good feedback on the changes we made. Ultimately, going forward, even though it may not seem like it from the outside with the results, we're pretty pleased. Nathaniel Powers has taken pole position for the Malaysian V-Prix after a brilliant final lap pipped Enrique Ruiz to the top spot, in a session pair dominated.
Will Hoskins has finished fastest in practice for the Malaysian V-Prix, the FIRST man lapping just under a tenth quicker than Downton's Klaas van Snelheid.
