Following the news around six weeks ago that British Formula Virtual team Phoenix had lost three key sponsors for the 2020 season, details have emerged today of further problems for the small outfit from Greater Manchester.
Enrique Ruiz has taken pole position for the Bahrain V-Prix, with team mate Tumo Kinnumen securing a front row lockout for Franklin.

After the German V-Prix the media caught up with Meteor team principal Shane O’Connell and deputy team principal Guido Caliri, who were visibly livid with the team’s unlucky end to the weekend with a double retirement.

We're here at Hockenheim, which has hosted the race since 2013, we were orginally suppose to go to the Nurburgring but had a last minute change. Anyway, it's a bit chilli right now with about 20 minutes until the lights go green. Let's get started.
Formula Virtual returned to action ahead of this weekend's German V-Prix, with Adrien Simon leading the way for DS Mathershaw, ahead of Enrique Ruiz in second and Klaas van Snelheid in third, as the top three teams in the championship took the top three spots on the timesheets.
