As Formula Virtual takes to Albert Park, Mathershaw Porsche continued their strong run of form, with Enrique Ruiz leading Adrien Simon by just under a quarter of a second, as the two closed the day at the head of the field. Nathaniel Powers took the fight to the Mathershaw duo, ending the day just two hundredths shy from Simon, with Klaas van Snelheid shadowing his teammate in fourth, a further tenth back. Felix Pérez and Will Hoskins rounded out the top six for FIRST, with a tenth-and-a-half gap to the rest of the field. The close midfield battle, with fourteen cars separated by just half a second, was headed by the Lopez of Elroy Wagner, the German's best time a few hundredths clear of Johan Halvosen in the North Star. Dominykas Zvironas also showed well, the Lithuanian rookie pulling his Ocelot into the top ten. Arguably the most impressive performance of the session came from Puccio Giodano, the Westwood driver finding a time good enough for ninth, just one thousandth of a second behind Halvosen, and over six tenths clear of teammate Karl Beckenbauer in twenty-first. Lewis Ellington, making his first appearance for the new Arrow outfit, spent the day getting to grips with the car, ending four hundredths down on new teammate Yakumi Takahashi, but two tenths ahead of his replacement at Meteor, Giani Ledesma. Enzo Domenicalli had a rough session in the Franklin, finishing last of those to set a time. Carson Davenport matched the second Franklin of Nick Addison, but was the only Lucas to take to the track, as Marcus Thunder's car spent the session in the garage, surrounded by the Lucas mechanics.
