Jamie Franklin - Team Principal/Owner
Fuji was a difficult race for us. Testing was mostly focused on getting the car put together as quickly as possible and getting the laps under our belts in order to start understanding the car, trying to work together as a cohesive unit and gain some semblance of reliability. I think we just about achieved that, but Fuji was the first time where both Enzo and Nick could run the car in anger. We were whereabouts we expected to be, but there will be a lot more hard work to do between now and Malaysia if we're going to avoid Q1 in a few races time. Malaysia itself can throw up some pretty crazy results, and it could be our best chance at a freak result to save us further down the line, so we need to really come together this weekend and show everything we've got. But we're not getting ahead of ourselves either. Enzo Domenicalli - Race Driver It felt really nice to be back in a Formula Virtual car again after so long. It, for sure, wasn't where I'd like to be, but I have faith in this team that we can push forward. Malaysia has not been the kindest to me in the past, with only one finish there, but we can hope for something more. Nick Addison - Race Driver Mate, I can tell you that Formula Virtual cars are a beast to drive. I know I was sat at the back for the most part, but compared to Indy, I'd say they definitely have the edge. Had some good scraps in Fuji, but I think we can definitely do more. I know I'm still learning some of the nuances of driving the car, and I think we the team we've got around us, I think we might be able to pull something out of the bag in Malaysia, and if lady luck falls our way, then who knows. Ivan Soto - Technical Director Having had a look at the car, I can see some of the weaknesses and parts we can definitely build on. The Honda power unit is a positive and may give us little edge on the straights but the packaging could do with optimisation. Could struggle a little on the high speed corners but we test some things and see what we can do. If nothing else, it's good data for car. Felicia Quinn - Chief Designer Having to produce a car in such a short amount of time has not been easy, that's for sure. Certainly a much different challenge to the one we faced last year, but we're not a million miles away and we have a good path ahead of us in order of what we need to do. Ivan coming on board will definitely help us stay on track, especially with the lack of resources we have compared to last year. As for Malaysia, I think compared to Fuji, it could expose us a little bit more, but we've been able to make a few alterations to the car that may close that back up, so by the team's estimations, I think we'll be in the same position roughly as in Fuji, but it's a marathon, not a sprint and with a little luck we could still be in the mix with Meteor potentially.
