Harding To Return In IJGPC next season

In his first appearance the Malaysian Grand Prix, James Harding has finally been declared well enough to leave Kuala Lumpur for his original homentown of Wagga Wagga in country New South Wales, and although on crutches, was able to have a quick chat with the media at the Sydney Airport.

"I couldn't remember my lefts and rights when I first arrived at hospital. I have gone through all the major surgeries bar one for a muscle in my right leg, my left leg has healed very well to the point where I can comfortably move around with these crutchers."
"I'd like to thank all the medicos who have assisted in my recovery, they have all done a terrific job and should all be recognised for what they have done for me."

When asked about whether he will drive again, he was seemingly confident of a return alot sooner than first anticipated.
"Now that my progress is well on the up, I can start my rehab on my arms in 2 weeks, the rest of my lower body still has a way to go. My doctors believed it is possible I could be fully fit in time for a few IJGPC races toward the end of the year, so we'll see how that pans out. I also called Dylan Lopez and he said if all goes well, I'm pretty much guaranteed a seat at Point Cook in the IJGPC next Season."

The interviewer finally got to mention Abel Osterhagen's stunning 4th place at the United States Grand Prix. Harding simplied laughed at first, stating, "I must still be asleep, haha. But if he really has finished 4th, Kudos to the kid. He's gonna go a long way in the VGPC if he's pulling rabbits out of the bag like that!"

James' family were at the airport to pick him up afterwards, and after some slightly awkward hugs and kisses, they along with 2 security guards safely escorted him to their car and James headed off, to restart his career,

He was propelled into the spotlight of the Virtual Grand Prix Championship when he was handed a race seat at 18 as a result of team-mate Scott Parsons' rally accident. He's already scored his first podium while on loan at Mathershaw and is now up against reigning World Champion Nathaniel Powers at Downton, and holding his own. These are some of the things you probably already know about Marcus Thunder. But there's plenty more you don't know, like his love of chocolate, the smell of fresh rain, and his many many fears...
