Ocelot today announced the signing of Liverpool driver Karl Beckenbauer to the team for the 2016 season, the deal came as a shock to many of the fans as Ocelot had landed a strong driver for next year in what was a hefty deal which the team hope will payoff with next year's car.

Rai Miyamoto seemed very happy with the confirmation of next year's line up as Beckenbauer will be joined by Kiara Thunder for the 2016 season. 'I know that it is very early in the season but we felt that confirming our driver line up as soon as possible would help us focus on the development of the car around these drivers.I can also assure you that Sikes and Dwyer will be backed full even if there are no seats available at the team for next season.'
