Initial replays showed Giodano coming from too far back and hitting the rear of Perez's FIRST, but Westwood say there's more than meets the eye.

''It's amazing to have been part of the sport for so long and to also be seen as a race winning team, of course we've had our struggles as of late but we move forward to a brighter future. But this week is the time to celebrate the past. Our achievements have come with some hard work and dedication. We will push forward with a goal to be where we were in 2018.'' ''I still remember our first ever points picked up by Dwyer and Sikes, what a moment that was for us. A special time for a new team. I hope that we can all celebrate this weekend together with a good performance.'' The outing marks what is hopefully the first full Formula Virtual weekend for the talented 19 year-old, who was notably estatic about the prospect of getting behind the wheel, even if just to attempt to qualify. "It's a dream come true," he stated. "It's all happened pretty fast so I'm still in shock, but I can't wait to get out there. I'm super thankful to Lopez for giving me this opportunity. They've shown me so much support and it means the world." Kovalenko, who will become AMR's test and reserve driver for 2021, could not be reached for comment. The news broke this morning in Turkey from the Franklin garage that current Formula Virtual Champion Nathaniel Powers will be leaving the orange outfit to return to his original team for 2021. Powers and Franklin enjoyed a successful start to their respective careers in the inaugural season of Formula Virtual, taking both the Driver's title as well as the Constructor's Championship alongside his team mate at the time Will Hoskins. Powers would go on to leave Franklin at the end of the season to join Downton, persevering through a few difficult years before coming back as a tour de force in 2017, claiming his second title, and then his third in 2018. Powers will line up alongside rookie driver Danilo Forini, making for a very exciting line up. Though it is unknown at this stage where this will leave the likes of Enzo Domenicalli and Nick Addison. Not really. Klaas van Snelheid continued his recent run of form in practice for the Turkish V-Prix this evening, with a lap time six tenths clear of the next non-Downton car.
