Below, a transcript is available from a recent interview with Meteor boss, Kazuki Armos, ahead of the 2015 Formula Virtual season. Q: We'll just start of with 2014, what are your thoughts?
A: It was up and down. We had a fantastic win, but never raced to such a high level. Q: Are you expecting a stronger season to come? A: I don't know, it could be similar. The development path changed a lot since 2013, it was a lot more difficult. Q: Why did you find it so much harder? A: Because, I think we had a terribly positioned car. We could have easily developed the car to the end of the season and sacrificed this season, but the car may not have improved, we noticed this at the start of the season. Likewise we could chose to neglect the car and focus on this year, but we had some many competitive rivals. Q: So getting the balance right was harder? A: For sure! Q: We've now seen the MM15, was adapting to the new regulations hard? A: Well, yes! I'm was expecting a change, these cars a very different. I don't know how much it will shake up the grid, I think finances will still be very important. Q: What is your financial state like, are you worried? A: I wouldn't say worried, I'm annoyed. Q: I presume this is over the Jean Mattson deal? A: Yes. Q: Is there any way of resolving this. A: I hope so, I don't want to go into a new season with something against another team. I think we need a third party to come in and sort it out, make sure all parties are treated well, then it can be put to bed. We have been talking with Ingram and Franklin, they can see where I am coming from. Q: We've heard a rumour that there could be a way of avoiding this in the future. A: Yes, but I don't care. It doesn't help me. This is our discussion in black and white with Ingram.
