Matteo Zettici has impressed yet again in free practice, soaring to the top of the timesheets while swapping in for Klaas van Snelheid. His nearest challengers were Allar Kangur and Elroy Wagner, who were more than two tenths back on their best times. Behind them Forini looked strong in P4, while Klien got a chance in Hoskins' car and was able to get it exactly three tenths off of the fastest time. FIRST will be encouraged by this show of pace, having taken their maiden victory here last season. Ingram had a good session, with both drivers in the top ten, while Marcus Thunder pulled off an exceptional lap to achieve sixth fastest. Porsche Mathershaw had a poor session, with Ruiz in 12th and Simon only able to set a laptime good enough for twenty-second place. Simon was not alone with his woes however, as Powers was unable to set a clean lap. The master of consistency was either struggling with setup or running into traffic on promising laps, and will be hoping for better in qualifying. Westwood showed some evidence of forward momentum, with thirteenth and seventeenth place being their best practice session to date. Further back, Xylander once again comfortably had the beating of teammate Alvarez. Traffic however was an issue for even more drivers, with Perez, Thunstrom and Takahashi getting caught up in near misses. In this weekend's hot Silverstone sun, tensions are already starting to reach boiling point in practice. We look forward to you joining us for qualifying shortly, as we see if the drivers are able to keep their cool and come out on top! See below for full classification.
