Matteo Zetticci has ended his first official run in a Formula Virtual car in front of his home crowd as the fastest driver, topping practice by just 14 thousandths of a second from team mate Nathaniel Powers. The Downton duo were once again at the top of the times, though Enrique Ruiz and Adrien Simon were only one and two tenths back respectively, keeping the orange machines on their toes ahead of qualifying tomorrow. Will Hoskins once again put a FIRST solidly fifth, though team mate Felix Perez was pushed back to seventh by Sergio Alvarez after a scruffy session for the Mexican and a blinding lap from the Phoenix driver. Johan Halvosen was eighth ahead of Hunter Ryan as Ocelot showed strong, with Dominykas Zvironas backing him up in eleventh, the pair sandwiching James Vasquez's Ingram. The story of the session came behind though, with the other reserve drivers running in the session. In addition to Zetticci, Jules Barclay ran at Westwood in place of Karl Beckenbauer, while Zander Brynildsen had his first Arrow outing in Lewis Ellington's car, and both lapped faster than their team mates. Barclay was just over half a tenth up on Puccio Giodano - a lap that will impress his team bosses ahead of his race debut with Westwood next season - while Brynildsen lapped a mega half second quicker than Yakumi Takahashi, ended the day ten places higher up the standings in fifteenth. Elsewhere fourteenth and seventeenth indicate Lucas seem to be in very little danger of failing to qualify in their first race back in Q1 following the events of Belgium, while Enzo Domenicalli lapped sixteenth fastest for Franklin following his points finish last time out. Jean Mattson once again struggled to match his team mate down in eighteenth, while Gabriele Garcia was once again nowhere near Halvosen in the second North Star, barely lapping quicker than Finn Schnyder in the AMR, the Swiss racer putting in a strong time to give AMR some hope of qualifying for the race. Further back Thierry Xylander struggled throughout the session with handling woes, while Meteor's chances of making their race appear slim - lapping near two tenths slower than anyone else.
