In anticipation of their upcoming 100th V-Prix, Westwood Racing Technology have finally revealed the one off livery they'll be running under the floodlights in Bahrain. And for those who can cast their memory back to 2013, it will look awfully familiar... The Bolton based team (originally Southampton based) competed in the inaugural race in Melbourne 2013, and has been a notable name in the paddock ever since. In the reveal, team principal Lilly Westwood has posted a short statement regarding the team, the sport, and her life. "I am truly very excited to reveal this livery, I'm incredibly proud of it. But none of this would be possible without the hard work of so many individuals. From Nic Morley, for running this fantastic series for so long, to the track inspectors and tyre manufacturers. And of course, to all the engineers in the garage and back at the Bolton factory who have been loyal to the team, especially after the debacle in early 2018. We might not have been on the grid for FV100, but be assured we will be celebrating our 100th V-Prix in true Westwood fashion, and I invite you all to do the same! Thankyou very much to every one of you. Anyway, that's enough waffle for the time being. Enjoy the Westw100d livery!"
