Klaas van Snelheid has continued his recent run of topping sessions in Formula Virtual, by setting the fastest time in practice ahead of the British V-Prix following back-to-back wins in China and Malaysia, the latter featuring the Dutchman's second career hatrick. van Snelheid led the session from the start eventually lapping the Silverstone Circuit in 1:28.356, with Franklin's Tumo Kinnumen ending the day as his closest challenger, just under a tenth and a half behind. Allar Kangur was third for Mathershaw, and the last drive within a reasonable margin of the quickest time. Enrique Ruiz wound up fourth but nearly seven tenths behind van Snelheid, while Nathaniel Powers in fifth headed a group of five drivers covered by little more than a tenth of a second. The two FIRST's sandwiched Adrien Simon, while James Vasquez raised eyebrows and hopes with ninth fastest as Ingram look to save themselves from having to fight their way out of Q1 at the next race in France. Felix Beyer was the last man within a second of the top time and rounded out the top ten, ahead of Mario Juan Lopez, Gabriele Garcia and his team mate Sebastian Bergkvist. Further back Rodolfo de la Fuente impressed with sixteenth fastest and over three tenths quicker than his team mate, while Hunter Ryan slashed six tenths off team mate Puccio Giodano's time to place eight positions higher in eighteenth. Both Johan Halvosen and Jules Simon were disappointed with the lack of pace in their cars as they rounded out the top twenty, with both Lucas' inside the top twenty-four behind them, showing promising signs of being able to get both cars into the race for only the second time this season. AMR meanwhile had a troubling day with mechanical gremlins for both cars, but were spared from propping up the time sheets by Thierry Xylander, whose DS engine expired after just four laps.
