Reigning world champion, Nathaniel powers, has ended the final day of testing on top of the time sheets for lucas. 'The final day of testing has given teams plenty to think about the upcoming season. Some teams are looking strong where as some are perhaps struggling for raw pace. It was Nathaniel Powers who led the way on the final day on the soft tyre's, capping off a very strong few days for the Lucas outfit. Many in the paddock were shocked by powers move from Downton to Lucas, but it appears it may not be that much of a downgrade. Allar Kangur was next for Pheonix with the second fastest time, also running the soty tyre's. Phoenix are another team who have appeared close to the top of the time sheets on every day. Enrique Ruiz got his first taste of the 2022 Porsche as he was third fastest on the hard tyre compound. The Brazilian edged out Matteo Zetticci in the Downton, who also ran the hard tyre's. Porsche and Downton were two of the very few teams who ran the hard tyres, however only less than a second off Powers. Tumo Kinnumen went fifth fastest for Westwood Peugeot on the soft tyre's. James Vasquez followed in sixth for Ingram, with an impressive set of laps on the hard tyre compound. North Star decided to go with the soft tyre's on the final day, and Halvosen posted the seventh fastest time. Finn Shynder was right behind in eight on the medium tyre's. Hunter Ryan set the ninth best lap for Ocelot on the medium tyre compound, with Caron Davenport behind also on the mediums with FIRST. Max Meyer was eleventh for Lopez on the mediums, with Meteor behind once again running the softs. Franklin once again endured a torrid day in which the car seemed to clearly lack pace around the corners. Danilo Forini set the worst posted time of the day. Arrow and Highwind failed to complete any laps whatsoever, with both teams suffering from mechanical issues. That concludes 2022 Pre-Season testing so the teams must now focus on the first race of the season, at Fuji. Full times below.
