Peugeot have announced they have poached Franklin F1's Head Of Aerodynamics, Maruice Hardwick, to be their new Head of Aerodynamics. Other changes have been announced in the design and CFD department. It seems that Peugeot made Hardwick an offer he could not refuse which caused him to jump ship to help that what will be Peugeot team for next season. The team see this as a massive break through. 'To have the Head of Aerodynamics from the team which is leading both championships is amazing', Armos is quoted as saying.
Peugeot have also announced they have hired Deputy Designer of Team 23 as their new lead designer, we believe it is the increased role capacity which caused Alan Bates to move to Peugeot. Peugeot have also vastly improved their CFD department by hiring the former Head of CFD at the redundant BMW Zyla as well as other members of the Zyla technical department. Armos also confirmed the news that Deputy Team Principal, Summer Chambers, will be acting Team Principal until the end of the season as he focuses on Peugeot Motorsport business.
