North Star Racing have revealed a one-off livery they will run in the upcoming Canadian V-Prix, celebrating the team's 100th Formula Virtual race. The design bears resemblance to that of the NSR-V02, with which the Scottish-Canadian team famously took victory at the 2017 race held around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in only their second season in the sport, at the hands of current Highwind driver Karl Beckenbauer. Johan Halvosen and Brock Kidd will also wear race suits styled on those work by Beckenbauer and former teammate Judson Sikes that season to commemorate the occasion. "We're all incredibly happy to be celebrating 100 races in Formula Virtual, especially at the circuit where we took our first victory," said Team Principal Nick Forrest to gathered media. "I don't know if Nic [Morley] did that intentionally when the calendar was reshuffled, I wouldn't assume that he did, but we really couldn't have asked for a better venue to hit this milestone." "It really doesn't feel like it's been that long, amazingly. We've had our fair share of both highs and lows across the six seasons we've been a part of the sport so far, and we're incredibly thankful not only to Nic, for keeping Formula Virtual going all this time, but for the bevy of incredible people across the paddock who make Formula Virtual what it is, and make it such a fantastic journey to be a part of."
