Ocelot team principal, Rai Miyamoto, recently made demands aimed at Nic Morley for a budget cap to be introduced. Mr Miyamoto claimed that the series would become more 'exciting', and that there is a 'monopoly' of the same teams consistently at the front. Series CEO Nic Morley quickly responded via twitter with a series of tweets that have since been retweeted by thousands of Formula Virtual fans.
"This is the best start to a season so far in terms of excitement. Can't believe what I'm hearing!", tweeted Morley.
"Teams can only spend 3mil a race.... this is sort of a budget cap right!?", he continued in a second tweet.
"Look at Downton. They've been no where for four years and the hard work looks to have been paid off, and they look more than stable for the future! It can be done!", he continued in a third tweet.
"If everyone developed the same for each race and was always jumbled up, this would take away a huge part of the sport. Ocelot are a brilliant team, and with some persistence and hard work they can move forward", finished off Nic Morley in his fourth tweet.
