Enrique Ruiz and Adrien Simon once again led the way in practice ahead of this weekends British V-Prix, while the only other man within a tenth of the top time was Downton reserve Matteo Zetticci. Ruiz pipped Simon to the top spot again by just over quarter of a tenth of a second, with Zetticci just 0.091 down on the Championship leader in his first of at least six practice outings for the Downton team in 2020. Following up in fourth was the second Downton of Nathaniel Powers - the first local driver on the time sheet - albeit over a tenth behind Zetticci. Downton once again demonstrated they appear a clear second quickest too - with fifth placed Elroy Wagner another two tenths behind. Felix Perez was just over half a tenth off the top time for FIRST ahead of team mate Will Hoskins, while Johan Halvosen, Hunter Ryan and Tumo Kinnumen completed the top ten. Just ouside in thirteenth, Allar Kangur was left scratching his head with a time half a tenth off his team mate - the Estonian complaining of a lack of grip which saw him spin off but continue at Stowe. Yakumi Takahashi stunned for Arrow in fifteenth - the last man within a second of the top time - while Olen Inman also got a practice outing at Westwood and ended the session just 0.023 down on regular driver Puccio Giodano. Behind the Westwood pair were the two AMR's - showing strong pace ahead of the Q1 battle tomorrow, albeit still largely behind their rivals. Lucas, Meteor and Franklin all struggled in the session with their six cars filling six of the bottom seven spaces, the only exception being Lewis Ellington - who ended the day last of the runners and around a second slower than his team mate.
