Lopez FV Team's Dylan Lopez has confirmed Lopez's reserve driver, Mario Juan Lopez, will be loaned from Lopez to Meteor for the 2019 season. The Argentine confirmed on social media the news. Rumors were going through the Argentine media about a secret trip to Meteor's factory after the United States V-Prix, and all was confirmed via the driver's Instagram. Hopefully his English isn't a bad sign for things to come..
"¡VAMOS! I'm going to have a full time seat in Formula Virtual next season at Meteor. My dreams of race in Formula Virtual have finally come true! Lopez e Meteor I cannot thank enough! ¡¡Mucho Gracias!!" It is his opportunity to show both Dylan Lopez and the paddock what he is capable of, as he is currently set to otherwise become a free agent at the end of his loan spell. He has appeared in practice sessions this year for the Swiss outfit, and it is expected he'll receive more opportunities in practice sessions of the final rounds to help prepare him for the jump up from FV2. Dylan Lopez and Kazukia Armos weren't available for comment, but both were reported to be delighted the deal fell through. It has been confirmed though that Lopez will drive the 2nd car at Meteor next season, alongside either of Jules Simon or Sebastian Vocquelin. Comments are closed.
