Ingram V-Prix today showcased the car they hope will drag the team up the constructor's standings for 2022. Having had a difficult 2021, bar the odd minor miracle from James Vasquez, it was a low key affair this morning in Jerez as William Ingram and his drivers showcased the new Ingram. "We are very pleased with our new design, but we are cautious about the level of success it can achieve. Last year was a big rule which we hoped we would capitalise on, instead we slipped back and relied on the odd result to keep us in the midfield. We have learnt from that and we hope this car can deliver more consistent performances." said team boss William Ingram in the paddock today. Returning driver Nikolai Milkovich was the first to drive the car, finishing as the 8th fastest on day 1 of pre-season and seemed relatively happy in the car. His happiness has to be considered with that context that the last FV car he drove was the 2021 Highwind challenger. The new car, christened the IGP Caracara, is a radical design departure, for Ingram at least, as the traditional green and white has been flipped on its head to create a striking white and green livery. James Vasquez and Jean Mattson both seemed happy, if not overly so, with the new car. Vasquez seemed happiest at the fact that he'd actually seen a Caracara in his hometown, unlike most of the rest of the IGP birds of prey.
