Formula Virtual has officially gone through three different logo's during it's history. While the current logo looks set to remain as it is for many years to come, it is interesting to see what came before it and what other logos never seen the light of day. 2013-2014 As the F1Fanatic website was a big part of the first Formula Virtual season - the series was in fact once called 'F1F Virtual Grand Prix Championship'. The series logo reflected that by incorporating the websites initials into it, and consisted of red, white, and black as it's colors. The series opted for a futuristic font, which is still used to this day. 2015-2017 It was time for the series to stand on it's own two feet and move away from partnering with F1Fanatic. As such the series was named to 'Formula Virtual', which we all know and love today. The new logo used the same font as before, however the red was replaced with orange, which would go on to be known as the series primary color. Meanwhile 'Virtual Grand Prix Championship' was simply replaced to 'Formula Virtual'. 2018 By the time the 2018 season came around , the series organizers believed it was time for a fresh and modern new logo. At first it was decided the logo would just change the font to a simple matte orange. The series organizers also came up with a logo that was never officially announced as the Formula Virtual logo. That logo was also orange but the text attempted to shape itself into a trophy and used more text. These two concept logos never ended up having the privileged of being used officially. 2018-present
Formula Virtual did end up settling on a fresh new logo for the 2018 season. The logo is what is used to day and consists of the same orange text, however it is styled to be more forward slanted. During the series 100th race in 2018 at Spa, the series opted for a special one off logo, which included '100th race' in gold text at the bottom.
