Ezequiel Tanner has been announced as the latest driver to join the Peugeot Development Academy. The Brazilian joins drivers Arthur Dubois and Odile Abel, both who are racing for the team in the IJGPC.
'This is a fantastic step forward for me. I was worried initially that my dream of racing at the pinnacle of virtual motorsport was over. I do hope my development role will help me move forward even more', said Tanner.
Peugeot also confirmed that Tanner will take on the role of team reserve next season, replacing the outgoing Ivan Lesic and Fillipio Fazio.
It is rumoured to be a battle for the remaining Peugeot seat between Arthur Dubois ad Odile Abel. VirtualSport are currently reporting that Dubois is the preferred joins of the management.
In other news, Lewis Ellington has announced that he will return to the car as of Round 4. Despite the team announcing the British driver would be missing the next three races after citing personal issues, Ellington will return after missing one round only. It is unconfirmed which of the reserves will be losing their racing seat.
