In the second major news for the German based outfit of the week, the team have revealed the driver to partner Japanese racer Yakumi Takahashi will be none other than Nick Addison of the Franklin team, shortly after the partnership between the two was agreed and announced. The Australian, with two Formula Virtual wins to his name under the Franklin name during the 2021 season, at the German and Turkish V-Prix, joins the team after moving to Germany due to family reasons with his significant other, who is also expecting a new addition to the Addison family imminently, and of course has a place of residence within the country of Germany, after originally being from there.
Seeing a new opportunity closer to his home location and a move temporarily away from the Franklin team, Addison enquired about the seat for the upcoming year and so has moved to ARROW for this year only pending any further negotiation, stating that he was "excited by the team's vision for the future" and "intrigued to compete against his new teammate". This deal only further strengthens the link between ARROW and Honda, and Franklin in particular, with the former seeming to take a liking to take drivers that already have an association to their manufacturer, point in case being the now-reserve driver Zander Brynildsen, who joined during the team's stint at Jaguar.
