The FVA have confirmed the race schedule for the 2023 Formula Virtual season. The race schedule for next year has finally been publicly announced after months of speculation. The 2023 season will once again feature sixteen rounds, a number the FVA are believed to want to stick with for the future. There have been some changes however, regarding a new season opener and closer, plus a returning and new track joining the calendar. Australia will return to hosting the season opener for the first time since 2019. The Australian V-Prix will once again be held at the Adelaide Street Circuit, however, will change to its longer layout. Meanwhile, Brazil will return to hosting the season closer. Indianapolis will return to the calendar, replacing Detroit, to host the United States V-Prix. The Argentinian V-Prix will make its debut on the calendar and will be held at the Buenos Aires circuit. This replaces the Czech Republic V-Prix which lost its spot on the calendar. Pre-season testing will once again be held at Jerez over three days and is scheduled to be held mid-March. The first race of 2023 is set to be held on the 2nd of April.
