The race schedule for the 2022 Formula Virtual season has been revealed. The championship will once again see sixteen races, however three new circuits have been added. As has been rumored for years now - Adelaide will finally host the Australian V-Prix, which means Albert Park will no longer be visited by Formula Virtual after eight years featured. Detroit will replace Indianapolis to host the United States V-Prix, however the former will return, as both circuits will alternate with each other year by year. The Spanish V-Prix has lost it's place on the calendar and will be replaced with the Czech Republic V-Prix, which will take place at Brno. The addition of Adelaide and Detroit means Formula Virtual will visit street circuits for the first time in it's history and will present a new challenge for the drivers. The Czech Republic will host their first Formula Virtual race and become the twenty-third nation to do so. Race schedule below. The season will once again begin in April for the Japanese V-Prix at the Fuji Speedway. For the first time since 2013, the season will conclude with the Mexican V-Prix. The 2022 season is expected to kick off in early April and end in late November, however the exact dates are yet to be finalized.
