Elroy Wagner has claimed his second pole position of the season, lapping a tenth faster than second fastest Nathaniel Powers. It was certainly a Team 23 vs Franklin F1 battle for pole in a cloudy Montreal; however it was the Dutch team that edged out their main championship rivals. Wagner set a time on a 1.15.098, while Powers was exactly a tenth behind on a 1.15.198. Jean Mattson qualified in third place, ahead of Mathershaw Technology's Adrien Simon. Will Hoskins and Karl Beckenbauer rounded out the top six, making sure the three front rows were occupied by Team 23, Franklin F1, and Mathershaw Technology. Enzo Domenicalli qualified his Ferrari powered Rossi in seventh, ahead of Hugh Dwyer, Puccio Giodano, and Carson Davenport. The race looks to be cloudy with a small chance of rain.
