Adrien Simon will head the field for the start of tomorrows title deciding Brazilian V-Prix, but team mate and championship leader by five points - Olen Inman - will start alongside him on the front row. The one hour long session started in the wet, but conditions improved and with ten minutes to go the first drivers ventured out on slick tyres. In the wet conditions Felix Beyer was setting the pace once again ahead of Marcus Thunder, participating in his last Formula Virtual qualifying session before his move to IndyVirtual next season. Once all drivers were on slicks however the order normalised, and DS Mathershaw moved to the front with their two drivers trading fastest laps six times before Simon's benchmark of 1:13.119 was set at the flag. Olen Inman was just 0.270 slower than Simon in second, but will know if it finishes as it starts, his five point advantage won't be enough to see him crowned the series' first ever rookie champion (see all championship permutations below). Key Red = Inman wins Blue = Simon wins Note: If the two drivers tie on points, Adrien Simon will win the championship on countback by virtue of having five victories to Olen Inman's four. therefore the two 0's should be blue, not red. Behind the championship rivals Jean Mattson lines up third ahead of the Meteor pair, while FUN will start sixth and seventh ahead of the Franklin duo in eighth and ninth as they look to defend their slender one point advantage in the constructors championship to hold on to third place.
James Harding was best of the rest outside the top ten in eleventh while Nikolajis Christodoulou outqualified Tumo Kinnumen and Beyer and Thunder eventually had to settle for twelfth and sixteenth respectively. It was an impressive performance from Aleksy Nowosinki however, who will start eighteenth after outqualifying both Ocelot's and Nathaniel Powers. Crucially, both DS Mathershaw drivers have been given the same option of the Soft tyre for tomorrows race, with temperatures predicted to be around 28 degrees. While there is still a very high chance of rain, these are likely to be small shower cells, so it's difficult to predict is these will affect the race.
