Unlike practice, the session saw action from start to finish, with everyone desperate to grab a good grid spot ahead of the season opening race.
The Franklin's were on top for the entirety of the session, with Ruiz just edging Wagner by 0.068 come the end. Karl Beckenbauer was the closest non-Franklin car, alebit over half a second back from pole in third. The second Liverpool of Simon was just 0.055 slower than his teammate but finished fifth after setting an identical time to Domenicalli, yet later in the session. His teammate Giodano was disapointed with fourteenth however, nearly an entire second slower. Meteor enjoyed an impressive return to the sport and will line up sixth and seventh, Harrison heading Hutchinson as per practice with Felix Beyer in eighth, eclipsing his teammate Nakumaya by half a second, and five places on the grid. The Westwood's of Hoskins and Kinnumen round out the top ten, with an impressive lap from 2013 Champion Powers putting him eleventh. nearly one second ahead of teammate Thunder in 20th. The same number of places separated the Lucas cars, with Ellington outclassing rookie Emma Wilson and qualifying 12th. The Ingram's line up 15th & 17th with Milkovic ahead of his new teammate. Sandwiched between them is Warrior's Abel Osterhagen, ahead of James Harding in 18th. FUN endured a miserable session after their pre-season promise, with Davenport and Agostino 19th and 23rd respectively. The last team on the grid are Ocelot, however they weren't glued to the back row as Hugh Dwyer managed 22nd, with Parsons set to start last on his return to the series following the 2014 season part-competing in the Virtual World Racing Series.
