Parsons will compete in his first round since Canada alongside eighteen year old Marcus Thunder - who scored his first points for the team last time out in Germany.
He was rushed to a hospital in Argentina where a few updates were given over the following days stating Parsons was still in a coma, but nothing has been heard since.
It can now be revealed however that Downton F1 and indeed the entire Parsons family were taken for a ride by the Argentinian medical service.
Upon hearing that Parsons drove for a Virtual Formula One Team the Argentinian medical services decided to lie to Downton and Parsons family about the severity of Scott's condition.
He exited the coma after just a week in the hospital and after getting the Downton F1 Medical officer to check Parsons over they realised they were being taken for a ride. Immediately they withdrew Parsons from the hospital and moved him to one in England where his injuries were confirmed as simply a fractured wrist.
Having recovered from that and done some private testing Scott is ready to get back into the swing of things at the expense of Dutchman Felix Beyer for the Austrian Grand Prix.
