"Once again I am very happy with how the year has gone, it's been another successful year for the series. In a way it's the end of an era; a new name, new cars, and new rules will present itself next year. I have once again enjoyed running this series and I think the fans, drivers, and teams have enjoyed it. It's been an exiting year and I for one am glad I witnessed it", said Morley.
"There was a bit of controversy with the way the Franklin driver's were handled. You can say this and you can claim that, but in the end I believe the right man one the championship. Enrique Ruiz and Will Hoskins are both fantastic drivers andf either one of them would have been a deserving world champion Ruiz one, so for me he deserved it. This is the guy who made his debut for Ingram at the end of last year with Ingram, he impressed everyone in the paddock. A year later he is the world champion who has finished on the podium in every race he has finished. This to me is incredible, his consistency and speed has been no short of amazing. His form in the final five or so races was brilliant and really put down his authority. Yes Hoskins was placed on poorer strategies, but he was out performed completely by Ruiz in the back end of the championship and was the more consistent of the two throughout the year. I want to congratulate Enrique Ruiz on this championship, and I want to congratulate Jamie Franklin and his team for successfully defending both of their championships", continued Morley.
"I want to thank all the teams, drivers, and fans who have supported the series throughout the year, it's been a pleasure to organize the series. The future of Formula Virtual is looking bright and I predict that 2015 will see the best season yet in many ways. The introduction of commentary by Bradley Downton and Harry Westwood was great. Next year we will see a new style of car design which I think is very interesting. We will see the introduction of two new tire suppliers as we sadly bid farewell to Bridgestone after two successful years. There will be more changes announced in the new year and for me I am exited. For now I want to thank everyone for their support, and I want to wish everyone a safe and happy new year", finished off Nic Morley.
So it seems that Bridgsetone will be leaving the series which is certianly thew first we at VirtualSport have herd about it. Who will these two new tire suppliers be? All look' set to be revealed in 2015.
