Ingram have today revealed their much antipicated car for the 2018 season named the IGP Osprey. In a small, yet busy, ceremony team boss William Ingram watched on as drivers Jean Mattson, James Vasquez and Nikolai Milkovich unveiled the new livery. "We hope this is better than the last one!" declared Ingram. "We have lost a few sponsors in the off season, understandably given our miserable 2017, but have retained a couple and welcome aboard Penguin Books and DuckDuckGo as new sponsors!". "We are also releasing a new logo to coexist with the current Ingram GP branding - in the same way the prancing horse is Ferrari's logo and the iconic Ferrari letting lives alongside it." Ingram brushed away concerns that it looked like the new logo had been made in paint stating "it is what is it" but was welcome to the idea if someone wanted to clean it up a bit. A brief interview was held afterwards with the main drivers, while mainly spouting what the sponsors wanted to hear and how much they were looking forward to the new season, both Mattson and Vasquez seemed keen to "leave their mark on Ingram's history". This is perhaps a reference to Ingram's repeated praise of Diego Campos who scored the team's first points and victory despite his lesser talent (especially when compared to Mattson).
Mattson claimed "since I've been here my reputation has gone back to my Team 23 days, but I want to be remembered driving for this team". Mattson is yet to score a podium for Ingram despite competing in over 50 GPs for the team, he scored 10 for Team 23. Vasquez said "I want to make a mark in first season, we've seen rookies like Klaas [van Snelheid] and Johan [Halvosen] making splashes in their debut seasons and I hope to follow in their footsteps. I hope to learn from both Jean and Nikolai this season." Milkovich claimed that, while disappointed he wasn't driving the car, he was informed Ingram that Ingram would not stand in his path should a race seat become available elsewhere.
