In a very small event with only few reporters present, Finland's Ultimate Nordic Formula Virtual Team revealed their new challenger for season 3. Team-principal Dick Diceman, Racing drivers Romano Agostino &Carson Davenport and test-driver Giani Ledesma introduced the FF1/3, which once again looks totally different from the team's previous livery. "As you can see, we have finally managed to get some sponsors, and the livery doesn't actually look that bad if you compare it to our previous cars. But we are not interested in does it look good, what we care about is is it fast enough. Last season was quite good for us, but our target was to finish 5th, so we can't bee fully satisfied. This year our official goal is to finish in the top 6 and get our first podium. The new rules make this season even more interesting, and no-one can really tell who is going to be on top. Hopefully it's going to be us", said the Team-principal Dick Diceman during the presentation.
The team changed half of its line-up for this season, as Hugh Dwyer was replaced by his old team-mate Carson Davenport. Davenport, who spent the last two years in Lucas, believes that team-change was a good thing for his career. "I really enjoyed my time at Lucas, we had great moments together especially in season 1, but I felt I needed something new to keep my motivation high, and FUN looked like an interesting project. I know we won't be fighting for victories this season, but there are a lot of good people working in here and I believe we have a good future ahead of us", said the Portuguese. The other driver Romano Agostino said his goal this season is to beat his team-mate and get his first podium. "I came so close in Malaysia last year, and I'm sure this year I will get it." "I know the team and the people, and I'm sure I will be even better than last year" "Carson is a really nice bloke, but at the track he is my enemy just like everyone else, and I'm sure I'll beat him", said the self-confident Italian during a long interview. Will FUN finally take their first podium, or will they slip back to the back? How will the new rules affect to the grid? Will Franklin still be the team to beat? How will the rest of the cars look like? Stay tuned as the start of the new Formula Virtual season gets closer and closer!
