Before the unveiling, Downton gave a speech on the team's 2014 season. 'Hello and welcome to the launch of Downton's 2015 Formula Virtual challenger, the BD03. I'd just like to start by thanking everyone for their efforts last year. What we achieved, it was just incredible. Especially compared to where we were in 2013.'
'But now, we must put that behind us and move on. 2015 is a new year, with new rules and regulations and lots of changes. No-one knows where anyone is going to be, and everything is new and exciting. And on that note, I'd like to introduce our drivers for 2015, who will pull the covers off of the BD03. Please welcome to the stage, race drivers Marcus Thunder and Nathaniel Powers, reserve driver Kip Maxwell, and young drivers Kiara Thunder and Klaas van Snelheid!' With that, the drivers walked onto stage and pulled the covers off as the world's media snapped away with their cameras. The BD03 was unveiled and the two race drivers gave a short speech as the photographers continued taking pictures. 'I'm really excited about the upcoming season and this car in particular,' started Thunder. 'It looks incredible and I'm happy to be racing - for the first time in Formula Virtual - with my favourite number 13 on the car.' Powers then followed with, 'The car's do look fantastic, and much different in shape to last season. No-one knows where we or anyone else will be this season, but we're going to try our best.' Downton concluded the unveiling with a final speech. 'With 2015 being so different, we have to be realistic. Expecting miracles, or even a repeat of 2014 would be foolish, but we'll take what we get. We all know here how much effort we put in 2014, and that may well have compromised this car, but we'll find out in testing. I'd just like to finish by assuring you all your jobs are safe, there'll be no ultimatum this year and we'll be back in 2016, no matter where we finish!' Downton ended with a laugh.
