Bradley Downton (Downton - Team Principal):
"I've said a lot to the media already so I don't want to run away with this, but I just want to thank Marcus once again for his efforts over the years. His entry to the series was very sudden and last minute and he really was chucked in at the deep end, but he coped remarkably and has done ever since - even proving a match for Nathaniel! The first win for him and us here last year will forever rank as one of my proudest moment, and it was fitting that he took the teams first victory in a way. I'm delighted he will continue to be associated with the team next season and wish him the best of luck in IndyVirtual." Nathaniel Powers (Downton - Team mate): "I'll definitely be disappointed to see Marcus leave this weekend. He's been a fantastic team mate and we really push one another. We've also become pretty good mates off track - I hope that gets me some free tickets to watch you racing mate! I've enjoyed sharing a race track and team with him and who knows, we may do so again in the near future..." Julian Horsham (Downton - Race engineer): "I've been with Marcus since he first set foot in a Formula Virtual car, and his progress has been insane. His knowledge initially was good for someone so young but he was very hot-headed and made rash decisions, which we've definitely reigned in. He's been a pleasure to work with and I hope we can send him off with one more strong result this weekend." Robert Mathershaw (DS Mathershaw - Technical Director): "Though Marcus was only with the team for three races, he has left an indelible impression on us. His maturity and talent shone through when he came to us in late 2013 in difficult circumstances, and from that point it was clear he was a star in the making. He was instantly on the pace of Adrien, and his first podium in Brazil was a joy to behold. Not only did that moment cement his place in the history of this team, but it also sparked the close cooperation between ourselves and the Downton team that we continue to enjoy to this day - for me, his and Downton's first win ranks up there with any milestone my own team has reached. Thank you for the memories Marcus, all the best in America!" Kiara Thunder (Holmqvist - Driver/sister): "It was Marcus who first got me into racing and I've never looked back from that moment. He's taught me so much and I owe him loads. I'm disappointed he's leaving just as I arrive and we never had a proper chance to battle, but I know why - he clearly can't bear the thought of being beaten by his little sister!"
