With one of the shortest laps of the season, the Norisring promised to hold a cracker of a German eV-Prix. After his surprise pole, Sebastian Bergkvist starts at the front ahead of Alexander McLaughlin, while the championship contenders, especially Felipe Cesar and Oleksandr Zozulya, start well down the field.

Sebastian Bergkvist pulled out a stunning late lap during eVirtual qualifying to take a surprise pole position for both himself and the Porsche Westwood team after what has so far been a trying season for the German outfit.
After crushing the opposition in qualifying yesterday, the two Downton cars lock out the front row, with new championship leader Brock Kidd ahead of Kip Maxwell.
Downton dominated proceedings during qualifying for the Azerbaijan eV-Prix, with Brock Kidd heading Kip Maxwell by less than one tenth of a second, but with third placed Felipe Cesar over half a second back from the pole time.
With overtakes, collisions and a key retirement, the Chinese eV-Prix saw plenty of action. The race started off with Will Taylor and Oleksandr Zozulya locking out the front row for Jaguar, with Downton cars of Kip Maxwell and Brock Kidd in 3rd & 5th, while the Masertai's of Felipe Cesar and Ryota Yoshida lined up 4th and 6th.
Will Taylor took pole position ahead of the Chinese eV-Prix to put himself just 2 points off the lead of the championship, but it was only after a close battle which saw the top 4 drivers split by only 2 tenths.
After a horrible race in Singapore, Brock Kidd came to Macau looking to bounce back and did it in style with a dominant pole position. He started at the front today ahead of Aron Einarsson who had his best qualifying of the season to date and Oleksandr Zozulya.
Brock Kidd has taken his second consecutive pole position ahead of the third round of the eVirtual World Championship, by over six tenths of a second from his nearest rival.
