Brock Kidd has taken his sixth pole position of the season - and third consecutive - ahead of the Moroccan eV-Prix, but only by virtue of setting his lap time first after Felipe Cesar matched it to within a thousandth of a second. The American's lap came seven minutes earlier in the session than the Maserati Cerberus mans effort, as the Brazilian looks to get his title fight back on track after securing just eight points in the last three races.
Kip Maxwell lines up third in the second Downton, while Will Taylor and Ryota Yoshida demoted Championship leader Oleksandr Zozulya to sixth, the Ukrainian with work to do to defend his advantage. Aron Einarsson lines up seventh ahead of Steven Kasami - the Swiss driver with a great effort to start eighth - ahead of Sebastian Bergkvist and another sublime performance from Rodrigo Sanchez, the Mexican once again sneaking his Nakley Toyota into the top ten. That pushed Ivan Lesic just outside, while a disappointing session for Alexander McLaughlin sees the Kiwi start down in thirteenth. Further back however, Luiz Santos garnered praise for not qualifying at the back. The Brazilian will start nineteenth in a car that has regularly been at the tail of the field, ahead of Stuart Harrison's Renault and Luke Stokey in the Tesla. See below for full qualifying results:
