The eVirtual tour makes its final stop of the season on the streets of Marrakech in Morocco, and with this being a street circuit, today's qualifying session is all important ahead of tomorrow's Championship deciding race. Q1The first qualifying session to determine who would and wouldn't make the grid for the last time this season was all but determined from the off. The Lamborghini pair, along with Brzyski, Inman and di Stefano could not get into a groove, and ended up over a second away from making the race. The last spot however was hotly contested between Maserati's Garcia and the star of the last race, Drake Davies. It wasn't to be for the driver from the Bahamas however, as his final lap put him a tenth shy of Garcia, and meant both Lamborghini and Toyota's seasons ended prematurely. Q2With Q1 consigned to the history books, it was time to see what the Championship contenders could produce. Thunstrom struck immediately to go top of the times, but in a role reversal of last race, new Championship leader Jules Barclay and Lada's Sam Hudson were the two struggling for pace. Barclay never looked like a threat for Q3 and will be hoping for some drama in front of him as he starts down in 21st, whilst Hudson and Lada have work to do as well, the American only 15th, directly behind team mate Kruuda, which will be cause for concern for the team looking to take it's first Team's Championship. It was tight for the Championship outside too, as Oleksandr Zozulya just squeezed into Q3 in 10th, whilst team mate Ethan Matthews could only manage 19th. Q3If Q2 was impressive from Thunstrom, then Q3 was out of this world. The Swede - clearly desperate to take the Championship he's led for so long was nearly a second clear of his rivals in the final part of qualifying, with no-one even looking like threatening. Behind him however, just four tenths seperated 2nd to 8th, as Cosmo Roberts denied Zozulya a front row start, with Stefansson starring once again for Cadillac in 4th. Maxwell capped an impressive season of qualifying performances for BMW with 5th, ahead of Arrow's Brynildsen and the two Seb's - Bergkivst and Vocquelin, with Oliversson and de la Fuente rounding out the final top ten.
