Qualifying for the second triple crown race of the season was a frantic affair at Monaco, read below how the session unfolded. Q1Thunderhead, Lamborghini and K8ley all fell at the first hurdle, some way back from making it into Q2. But unlike usual races, at least this time they had the opportunity to pull something back in the race, albeit likely a tricky task given the tight confines of Monaco. Q2Jaguar showed their hand early in Q2, with both Thunstrom and van Snelheid setting times some one second quicker than the rest of field that would still see them sat 1-2 come the chequered flag. A great effort from Stefansson saw him P3 with team Oliversson also into the top ten, whilst the two Downton's went through as well. Maxwell got his Gray BMW in, and was joined by Lada's Urmo Kruuda, Renault's Einarsson and Opel's Roberts - the only driver to progress having started in Q1. Q3Thunstrom couldn't quite match his Q2 time, but a 28.1 was still enough for his maiden eV pole. Maxwell lines up a sensational second, just denying Jaguar a front row lockout. Zozulya lines up fourth with Stefansson between the two Downton's, and Oliversson lines up seventh ahead of Einarsson, whilst both Roberts and Kruuda made mistakes on their laps - ending up over a second back, albeit split by just 0.067.
