The result from the qualifying session for the 2022 Mexican eV-Prix. A great lap from Manziel's Aron Einarsson saw the Icelandic driver take pole position for tomorrow's eV-Prix, ahead of championship challenger Alexander McLaughlin and Sebastian Bergkvist in the Porsche.
Felipe Cesar will line up an encouraging fourth, fresh from pre-season testing with Ocelot in Formula Virtual. Ethan Matthews impressed once again, putting his OSM into sixth, while both the SininenTuuli Audi and BMW Gray teams were ecstatic with seventh and eighth respectively. Perhaps the happiest team of all, though, was Thunderhead. New signing - as of the last race - Drake Davies put in an incredible effort to end up twelfth on the grid, with teammate Nicolas Steffensen making it out of pre-qualifying for just the third time this season. Both Downton and Jaguar endured a dreadful afternoon on the oval, ending up thirteenth and seventeenth, and fourteenth and twenty-first respectively. Reigning champion McLaughlin will be hoping to capitalise on his rivals' struggles tomorrow.
