Team principal Ahmed Cheema said "We are very excited to have Nikolai and Diego race for us next year. Nikolai is no doubt one of the best drivers available and hopefully he will help us develop up towards the front of the field. As for Diego, we feel he has some untapped potential. I've worked with him in the VTCWC and he has plenty of experience. He has worked with Nikolai, so they know each other and have a good relationship. Both also have Formula Virtual experience, so that is a huge bonus".
Many people have criticised the signing of Campos, claiming he was a 'useless' driver, but Cheema gave a different opinion: "Sure, Diego wasn't brilliant, but he wasn't terrible as some people try to make him out. There are far worse drivers out there. As I said, we feel he has some more potential, and lots of experience. He adapted well to the two V-Prixs he raced in last year at short notice, so we have no worries that he will struggle". This means Palma and Heininen will be leaving the team. Though Cheema refused to comment on this, he is known to be very critical of his drivers, especially in an interview that took place before the start of the season. He was also frustrated by Heininen's abysmal performance in qualifying today. Thus, the team have the first confirmed line up for next year. But could the team sign another driver? As Cheema said: Just wait and see...
