Brock Kidd bounced back well from his disappointment of retiring from the 250 Miles of Monaco by taking pole position for the DS Automobiles Course de France in a closely fought session. Kidd, Marcus Thunder and Nick Addison ended the session as the top three, separated by less than three hundredths of a second, with Enzo Domenicalli only just over a tenth behind in fourth in a session that saw nine different drivers hold provisional pole position.
Aron Einarsson's surprisingly strong form in IndyVirtual continued with fifth position, ahead of the second Team Morley car of Yakumi Takahashi. Row four consists of two surprises in Pedro Costa and Jawa Ahmad - who easily had his best qualifying performance of the season - while Felipe Cesar and Dino Palma round out the top ten. Daniel Bruner ensured all Team Morley cars would start in the top half of the field with thirteenth on the grid, while Kiara Thunder struggled on her debut having switched seats with Hugh Dwyer, and could only manage twenty-fourth.
