Kannan GP have made a huge move in the IndyVirtual driver market by signing former Formula Virtual drivers Hiroto Nakmuya and Romano Agostino. The Mexican outfit who finished runners-up in the FV2 Series in 2016; have set a big statement for the IndyVirtual series. Hiroto Nakamuya is an experienced Formula Virtual driver who has driven for the AMR outfit in the past and will race in the number 21 car. He was closely matched with his highly-rated teammate Felix Beyer in both years and the Japanese driver has scored 27 points for the midfield team and was re-known for his exciting driving style. After the news of the deal being announced; he said ’I’m thrilled with this opportunity! I can’t wait to be back racing after sitting on the sidelines. I honestly feel we can win races this year as I feel I could be one of the best drivers on this grid’.
Romano Agostino has driven for three FV teams with 79 points so far and will drive in the number 74 car. He got the seat after complications arose with signing Sergio Alvarez and Brock Kidd. Agostino is a tough driver who has great experience in wheel to wheel racing. He said ”Kannan GP will be the next step in my career and will suit me well. I love America and Racing so I’m excited for IndyVirtual!”
