Felipe Cesar topped day two of IndyVirtual pre-season testing, however it was a day blighted by persistent rain in which the drivers never had the chance to move away from the wet tyres. Nonetheless the teams made the most of the conditions, with Jochem van Snelheid completing the most laps for new Dutch outfit Vroom Autosport with 112 tours of the Indianapolis road course on his way to sixth fastest. Cesar's table topping time was fourth tenths quicker than Will Taylor in second place for Rodeo, with Scott Parsons stringing together a better day for Formation in third fastest. Hiroto Nakumaya once again showed his prowess in the wet with the fourth best time for Kannan, just ahead of fellow Japanese racer Yakumi Takahashi of Morley. Unsurprisingly however, the rain did cause a few hiccups, and after no red flags on day one, day two saw four. Parsons span off at turn 7 and got stuck in the gravel, while the mistake was replicated by Mikko Heininen later in the day for the third red flag, though he got back out later on to go eighth fastest beind Keith Murphy. Takahashi caused the second as he became the first to find a barrier after missing his braking point at turn one and aquaplaning across the grass, while the final stoppage was for Rodrigo Sanchez, whose American Engineering machine snapped around the banking of turn 14 and slammed into the outside barrier with just over an hour to go. The Mexican gingerly extracted himself from the car but was deemed perfectly fine, although ended the day a disappointing ninth, ahead only of Drake Davies and Alex Wright.
