Felix Beyer returns to defend his Triple Crown Championship, albeit with a different team. The Dutchman will drive for new outfit Scuderia Stars in the #5, and was quoted as being "incredibly excited" at the opportunity.
He is joined once more by fellow Formula Virtual driver and defending Formula Virtual Champion Nathaniel Powers - who will again drive the #14 Formation Competition car - while Enrique Ruiz makes his debut in IndyVirtual, taking the #47 Cerberus Motorsport entry occupied last year by former team mate Puccio Giodano. Lewis Ellington - who is without a seat this season in either Formula Virtual or IndyVirtual - will contest the three Triple Crown races for Rodeo Racing in the #38, while Downton reserve Sam Hudson will compete for Lancashire Racing Team in the #44. Ethan Matthews - currently competing in VWRS - will also join the field, racing the #52 Aggies Racing. This leaves KGP - who last year ran Felix Beyer in the #33 - without an additional car for the Triple Crown races, though series CEO Bradley Downton has confirmed that if the team are able to find a driver at such short notice, he will allow the additional entrant, fittingly bringing the total number of competitors to 33.
