Nick Addison has topped the opening day of IndyVirtual pre-season testing for Sapporo Team Morley, but just two tenths of a second split the top four. Addison was the only driver to dip under the the 68-second barrier with a 1:07.806, with rookie Stuart Harrison second quickest for Signature Performance, just three thousandths away from joining the Australian. Aron Einarsson - starting his first full season in IndyVirtual after switching from Formula Virtual mid-way through last season - was third quickest for Kannan, just shading Enzo Domenicalli of Cerberus. Rodeo's sole entrant Will Taylor was pleased with fifth fastest and logging the most laps, but Formation's Marcus Thunder expressed concern at being sixth and nearly seven tenths off of the pace, especially on a track that should suit the car. Drake Davies was seventh for Aggies ahead of a disappointed Luke Stokey - the American Engineering team lower than expected - with Kiara Thunder ninth for the first of the two new outfits, Vroom Autosport. Dino Palma rounded out the top ten for Scuderia Stars, while Callum Brandon propped up the timesheets, over a second away from anyone else for Lancashire.
