A major move has been made by Cerberus Motorsport following the end of the 2016 FV season. The Canadian outfit have annouced the signing of Ocelot's reserve driver Enzo Domenicalli to the team for the Indy Virtual 2017 season. Enzo is believed to be on a simialr deal to that of Marcus Thunder who was annouced as moving to the series having lost his seat to Klaus Van Sneldhied. Both Thunder and Domenicalli are both still allfirated with their FV teams as reserve drivers meaning a possibility of a return is not out of the question especially for Enzo as he joined Ocelot on a 3 year deal. The major reason for the move is due to Cerberus and Ocelot's belief of Thunder moving to the series as being a major move for Formation who Cerberus see as one of their main rivials for the series. Team Principle Oliva Rose had the following to say in the matter. ''We are extremly pleased by the news that Enzo will be joining us next year, we hope to try and make some waves with him during the championship season. The experience and knowledge he brings to the series is fantastic and we thank our partners at Ocelot for allowing him to join the team. We hope that the car will be able to deliver what Enzo needs.'' ''Having seen the qualities of what Marcus can do in FV, we felt slightly worried when he joined the series as we knew exactly what he could bring being a grand prix winner after all. So we decided that we would try and secure the best driver we could and Ocelot approached us with a purposal. So it's honestly fantastic to have him on board. Here's hopefully to seeing the two battle it out on track.'' Enzo Domenicalli seemed rather happy with his return to racing even if it is another series. ''I am first of all very pleased to be able to return to a racing series. The folding of Rossi really hit me and Puccio hard, so it was very pleasing when Ocelot approached us both and managed to convince us to join, It's been a shame that I had to sit out an entire season espeically with the injuries I sustained however 2017 I'm ready to go and hopefully challenge for the title in this new series. Although a return to FV is without a doubt not in question.'' Oliva Rose however couldn't comment on who would be partnering Enzo at the team. ''I'm afraid it's far to early to say however, we will make sure it's someone who has the calibre and racing pedegree to help us fight for the constructers title. We believe as this series is fairly new that we have as much chance as anyone in fighting for the championship. But I'm afraid at the moment I can not comment on any rumors as to who will partner Enzo.''
