On a dreary day in the Ardennes Forest it was Mexican Felix Perez who made hay to gather his 2nd pole of the season. The feat makes him the only driver this season thus far to obtain both multiple poles and wins. With rain forecast for the rest of the weekend some drivers were out of position behind as setups were mixed between wet and dry between drivers. Behind Perez was Vasquez 2nd and Ryan 3rd, who sit 3rd, 2nd, and 1st respectively in the championship. They were running a mixed setup between wet and dry to maximise their quali efforts, whilst Zander Brynildsen and Brittany Johnson running dry setups qualified 5th and 6th behind Alexander McLaughlin. Further back, the likes of Oleksandr Zozulya and Viktor Ostberg remained confident in their full wet weather setups despite qualifying 9th and 16th respectively. Full results below:
