Daniel Bruner will make his debut and start as the teams lead driver for 2017. The Australian has competed in every FV2 season since 2014, but only taking one win. With such success, Bruner missed out on a Formula Virtual drive those years but will instead get a chance in IndyVirtual. Daniel Bruner will drive car number nine.
Nick Addison will make his debut in top tier competitive racing. The Australian hasn't had the experience of competing in junior series, but it is believed Addison was picked up due to impressive form in karting. Nick Addison is the brother of Gus Addison, whom competed in the 2016 FV3 series. Nick Addison will drive car number ten. Yakumi Takahashi will also make his debut in top tier competitive racing. Born in Tokyo, the Japanese driver impressed in karting. Takumi Kanazawa will drive car number eleven. Jawa Ahmad will return to competitive racing in 2017 for Team Morley. The Malaysian driver last raced in 2013, in Formula Virtual for the now defunct Molto Veloce team. It is believed Ahmad was drafted in not just for his skill, but also as a benchmark for more inexperienced drivers. Jawa Ahmad will drive car number twelve. Toyota will provide Team Morley engines for the 2017 season and beyond. Sapporo, a Japanese beer company, will be the teams title sponsor from 2017 on wards. "I am very excited to be fielding a team in IndyVirtual for next year. While I run Formula Virtual I love the idea of running my own team in a top tier so this is very interesting , but also very new to me. I believe I will be a strong team principal and my knowledge of running a series will help me in that regard. The team will powered by Toyota in whom I believe will provide us the best possible chance of winning next year. I also want to welcome Sapporo on board, whom will be our main sponsor for the 2017 season. They are great company and they make some tasty beer so we can't lose in that regard", said Morley. "I have hired the best four available drivers for Team Morley. Daniel, Nick, Takumi, and Jawa I expect to be fighting for wins often in 2017. If not, it will be a failure and there will be disappointment. All four are great drivers, but they are also great people, and they have fitted in well already. It is an exciting project for everybody at the team and we all can't wait to turn up in Florida next year", continued Morley. "We are a serious team, we are competitive and the championship in 2017 is our main priority. We come in with high hopes and I expect the team to deliver. We are not here to make up the numbers. All in all, it is exciting and I myself can not wait to see our cars racing for the first time next year. I cant wait to see IndyVirtual come to life", finished Nic Morley.
