IndyVirtual pre-season testing ended at Indianapolis with Felipe Cesar fastest once again for Cerberus Motorsport, but the dominating factor was the huge accident experienced by Alexander McLaughlin. The Kiwi suffered a tyre failure around turn one with the car hitting the wall and flipping over. Incredibly McLaughlin extracted himself but he was taken to the medical centre, where it was established he only had minor bruising. An earlier lap had put him seventh fastest, albeit over 2mph slower than the 232.084mph set by Cesar. That eclipsed Taylor's speed from yesterday but no-one else could, with Aron Einarsson the closest for KGP in second place with a 231.865mph lap. Taylor himself set the third fastest lap ahead of Scott Parsons and defending Champion Brock Kidd, who got his first run in American Engineering's new car on the final day of the test. Once again it was Alex Wright and Lancashire Racing Team at the bottom of the time sheets, the British outfit with a lot of work to do before the opening race at St Petersburg next weekend. See below for full classification from day four of pre-season testing:
