Hugh Dwyer will start on pole position for his home race in the sixth round of the 2017 Steak and Shake IndyVirtual Series after a stunning lap in qualifying saw him surprisingly head the times. Dwyer has struggled so far this season - finishing just two of the five races so far - and currently lies down in eighteenth place in the championship, but will hoping to improve that here tomorrow when he leads the field away.
Marcus Thunder will start alongside him after his domination in India last time out, while Team Morley were denied locking out the second row with Yakumi Takahashi and Nick Addison by Lewis Ellington, who slipped into fourth late on. Championship leader Brock Kidd will start sixth ahead of Felipe Cesar and Michal Kubat while Cesar's team mate Domenicalli - who has endured a torrid start to the season - will once again have work to do, starting 20th. Luke Stokey and Daniel Bruner rounded out the top ten - the latter meaning three of the four Toyota-powered Morley cars start inside the top ten - but there wasn't such good news for the fourth car of Jawa Ahmad, who struggled to get to grips with the Canadian circuit and will start just 24th.
