Nick Addison looked set to take pole position for the penultimate race of the season and the point that accompanies it as he looks to fight back from his new position as the underdog in the championship battle, but was piped to the top spot by Felipe Cesar. Addison had been comfortably clear of second placed Aron Einarsson before Cesar completed his run, the last driver to do so. The three of them make up the front row ahead of the second Cerberus of Enzo Domenicalli, who is trailed by the three American Engineering cars led by Luke Stokey.
Brock Kidd will start from sixth while Championship leader Marcus Thunder goes from ninth, just behind a standout performance from Alexander McLaughlin - competing in only his second IndyVirtual race before a full campaign next season. Yakumi Takahashi and Will Taylor are the two major outside contenders with a mathematical chance of still winning the title, but eleventh and tenth in qualifying gives them a hard task to remain there by the end of tomorrow.
